We are driving our way up the steep incline of High Cliff State Park for a hiking adventure. As we are climbing higher and higher, Dade (age 4) illustrates his early knowledge of Greek mythology, which already far exceeds my own. And is a little disturbing…

“Dad, do you know about Kretos?”
“No, who’s Kretos?”
“Kretos cast himself from the highest mountain. Did you know that?”
“Uh.., no Dade, I did not.”
“Do you know why, Dad?”
“Why, Dade? And who is Kretos?”
“He did it because he killed his muvver (mother).”

I’m not even sure how to categorize this.
